A “greening Antarctica”, abundant with plant-life (in the form of moss) is startling news. Here’s a collection of never-before-seen photographs of penguins forming colonies and waddling amidst the greenery (consisting of algae, moss, lichen, and fungi).
Antarctica Photographer, Theo Allan captured the following images over a two-year period between 2023 and 2024 across the Antarctic Peninsula region, mainland Antarctica, and its neighbouring Islands.
